In parallel with the ongoing development program and major capital projects  undertaken  in Hambantota district there is substantial potential to accelerate the economic development of the District and bring associated benefits to its people.

The “Hambantota Navodaya 2009” Exhibition & Trade Fair is an opportunity to advance these objectives. With the experiences gained through organising    exhibitions during the past few years, it is our objective to ensure that the business community of Hambantota district takes full advantage of the emerging opportunities within the district and to encourage both local and inward investment in the district.

Now in its seventh year, the 2009 exhibition will create a forum in which both Public and Private sectors including large, small and medium sector entrepreneurs will participate in order to facilitate the socio economic development of the District and to bring associated benefits to its people.
