Objective of the Training Programme
 

 
 

This training is organized and conducted by the Hambantota District Chamber of Commerce (HDCC) and the scholarship is offered by the Ministry of Higher Education to Train G.C.E. Ordinary Level (O/L) qualified Advanced Level (A/L) Completed students on Career Development and Gainful Employment. After successful completion of the training and examinations trainees are awarded a “Diploma in applied Organizational Management & Supervisory skills Development”. Ultimate objective of the training is to employ the trainees in private sector companies.

Qualifications of the Trainees

             
                 
 
  • School leavers who sat for the GCE A/L Examination in year 2007 or prior to that
  • Age: below 30 years by 31/12/2007
  • Monthly family income:  below Rs.20,000/-
  • Passes in Mathematics & Statistic at the GCE O/L Examination is compulsory
